Manawa Tours - Terms & Conditions

Booking and Payments

  • A 10% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the tour start date.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made between 30-14 days prior to the tour start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the tour start date are non-refundable.


  • Any changes to your booking after confirmation will incur a NZ$50 amendment fee, plus any additional costs from our suppliers.


  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.

Waiver and Liability

  • Manawa Tours assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused during the tour.
  • Participants are responsible for assessing their own fitness levels and suitability for the activities involved.

Privacy Policy

  • We collect personal information for the purpose of providing our services. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.


  • Manawa Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries, activities, and accommodation if required, due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Participants must adhere to New Zealand laws and regulations at all times during the tour.

Domestic Flights

  • Flight tickets will be charged upon booking and are non-refundable.


  • Adventure activities have an element of risk. Manawa Tours reserves the right not to run any activity if deemed too dangerous (e.g. weather conditions).


  • Our tour packages include various activities. If weather or safety restrictions occur, we will provide alternative options.


  • During your tour, you will be accompanied by an experienced and trained Manawa Tours guide who holds a licensed passenger endorsement driver’s license, has legal approval to drive paying passengers, and has a first-aid certification. They will take care of all your personal needs and essential details, allowing you time to relax and enjoy your unique experience.
  • Your driver guides will transport you to and from the restaurant if you choose to dine out. However, due to their work obligations, they are not available as a general taxi service for late-night outings or pub visits.


  • Some of our packages might include meals. If not, we can suggest local restaurants. Lunch is generally not included, but some activities may include lunch as indicated in the itinerary and inclusions. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
